Die Basis für seine Tanzkarriere legte Arnau in seiner Heimatstadt Barcelona, zuletzt am Jove Ballet de Catalunya. Schon in dieser Zeit machte er als zweimaliger Finalist des Youth America Grand Prix auf sich aufmerksam. Für sein Tanzstudium zog es ihn nach Deutschland, an die Ballett-Akademie der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Der bayerischen Hauptstadt blieb Arnau auch nach seinem Bachelor-Abschluss 2019 treu – als Stipendiat der Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung im Bayerischen Junior Ballett München. Beim Bayerischen Staatsballett tanzte er in Stücken von Jiří Kylián, George Balanchine und Xin Peng Wang, in der vielbeachteten Neuproduktion des Sowjet-Klassikers Spartacus, in Wheeldons Alice im Wunderland sowie in der Titelrolle von Kinsun Chans Peter und der Wolf. Nach sechs Jahren in München sucht Arnau nun neue tänzerische Herausforderugnen – bei den Gauthier Dance Juniors.
Arnau laid the foundation for his dance career in his hometown of Barcelona. During his time with the Jove Ballet de Catalunya, he already showed great promise as a two-time finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix. He subsequently moved to Germany for his dance studies at the the Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. After he graduated with a Bachelor´s degree in 2019, the Bavarian capital remained Arnau´s home when he became a member of the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich as a scholarship holder of the Heinz Bosl Foundation. At the Bavarian State Ballet, he danced in works by Jiří Kylián, George Balanchine und Xin Peng Wang, in the much noted new production of the Soviet classic Spartacus and Wheeldon´s Alice in Wonderland as well as in the title role of Kinsun Chan´s Peter and the Wolf. After six years in Munich, Arnau is now seeking new dance challenges – with the Gauthier Dance Juniors.
