COLOURS brings dance to the people – not only on the Theaterhaus stages! As usual, Eric Gauthier and the company as well as first-rate instructors want to get the whole of Stuttgart moving: mostly open-air and irresistibly persuasive. A new format will be added in 2025: the COLOURS Collaborations in cooperation with Stuttgart culture partners.
The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film is one of the most important public events of its kind in the world that unfailingly attracts the international animation scene to Stuttgart every year. The free open-air cinema on the Schlossplatz has long been a cult event. On May 8, 2025, the ITFS celebrates the end of the war and 80 years of peace and freedom with the Grenzen(los) day dedicated to a world without borders. A very special occasion in which Eric Gauthier is taking part with a brand-new creation. After all, he can animate, too! One and a half months before the start of COLOURS, the premiere of his dance choreography Dance Without Borders also marks the start of COLOURS Collaborations.
