Bernat Blay

From the west, via the centre to the east of Europe: his budding career has taken Bernat across almost the entire continent. He was educated at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Valencia, including a final stint with La Joven Compañía de Danza at this renowned training institution. After graduating, he gained his first professional experience during the 2023/24 season as apprentice at the Ballett Theater Magdeburg under the direction of Jörg Mannes. In the 2024/25 season, he moved to the Klaipėda State Music Theatre in western Lithuania. Under ballet director Gaj Žmavc, he soon rose from semi-soloist to soloist and danced in works by leading choreographers such as Alexander Ekman, Edward Clug, Douglas Lee and Gaj Žmavc himself. From the 2026/27 season onwards, Bernat embarks on the next chapter of his career – with the Gauthier Dance JUNIORS.
