Tom Bellec

Tom received his training in a prestigious institution: founded in 1961 by the prima ballerina Rosella Hightower in Cannes/France, the PNSD Rosella Hightower in Cannes-Mougins is regarded as one of Europe’s leading ballet schools, with a multidisciplinary curriculum that includes a final year at the Cannes Jeune Ballet Rosella Hightower. Tom’s diploma year in 2023 also brought him luck in other aspects – he took part in two prestigious competitions with great success: with Elena Dombrowski’s solo Tout va bien? (Prix de Lausanne, Young Creation Award) and with Francesco Curci’s duet Forget Me Not (Le Prix des Hivernales in Liège, receiving the Grand Prix Contemporain). This was followed by stints with the Amorphous Dance Company in Nice and, most recently, with the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre for the 2025/26 season in Ostrava, Czech Republic. It was there that Tom caught the eye of Eric Gauthier, on the occasion of the premiere of his Ballet 102 in Ostrava. The result: from the 2026/27 season, Tom will be dancing with Gauthier Dance JUNIORS.
