Yasmin Mattos

Even after completing her training at the Ivanildo Rebouças da Silva School of Music and Dance in Cubatão, Yasmin remained loyal to Brazil and, initially, to her hometown. Her professional career began with Cia de Dança de Cubatão. When the company took part in the renowned Festival de Dança de Joinville, Yasmin competed in four categories and, at the age of just 22, received the Festival's Best Dancer Award. At the end of 2019, she moved to Rio de Janeiro to join the company of choreographer Deborah Colker, whose work combines dance, athletic elements and socio-political themes. There, Yasmin gained extensive international touring experience, which she further expanded from 2025 onwards with Focus Cia de Dança under Alex Neoral. In the 2026/27 season, Yasmin joined Gauthier Dance.
